What you’ll do
You’ll play a very important role on the hospice team by recruiting and organizing all volunteers to deliver the best care and services to hospice patients and their families. You’ll schedule volunteer visits, provide hospice education to volunteers, and influence creativity and positivity. We will look to you not only supervise all volunteers, but to perform administrative duties, too. Completing reports, mailings, evaluations, and documentation will be a regular part of your day.
What it takes
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Two years’ experience in a home health, hospice, long-term care, or other related healthcare setting preferred
- Experience as a volunteer preferred and within hospice desired
- Experience in a human services environment preferred
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record required
