Director of Therapy - Home Health & Hospice

Being the therapy guru suits you!

You’re a PT pro, an OT organizer, and an ST superstar! Leading the home health & hospice therapy team is right up your alley. This is one time that being a know-it-all is a good thing – when it comes to all things therapy, that is! Your team can always count on you to get questions answered and be the supportive leader they need! We know your skills and know-how make you the perfect fit for the Director of Therapy position at Ohio Living!

Why Ohio Living is different

  • Build relationships. More than any other area of nursing, home care allows you to foster a bond with patients and their families that is unlike any other. You’ll enjoy the appreciation and closeness that make your work more rewarding.
  • Be a leader. Even though you will spend the majority of your time outside of patients’ homes, you will still lead your team from a distance!
  • Many ways to care. It takes a special person to adapt to differing home settings with skill and compassion. Ohio Living also offers hospice services at our residences, should you wish to explore new areas.
  • Support and rewards. You can expect the technology you need for patient records and to manage your team’s schedules with ease.
  • Attractive pay and benefits. We offer everything you expect, plus a retirement plan, paid time off, education assistance, pay advances up to $500, and recognition programs.

What you’ll do

We will look to you to lead the therapy team at one of our home health and hospice locations. You’ll plan, develop, implement, evaluate, and direct the Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists, in addition to the programs and activities associated with the therapy program. You’ll also be a resource to patients and family members by participating in Plan of Care meetings and you’ll stay in the loop regarding patient progress and discharge planning. You won’t spend all your time in the office. We will have you make a few home visits to keep your skills fresh and to observe your team in action!
