For you, laundry is a labor of love.

You’re an expert at washing, folding and more –and you bring an extra level of care and attention to your work. Your attention to detail means everyone gets their clothes back, every time. You love getting to know the people you are doing the laundry for, and brightening their days is just part of who you are. All of this makes you a great candidate for the role of Laundry Associate at Ohio Living.

Why Ohio Living is different

  • Part of the community. At Ohio Living, unlike hospitals or hotels, you get to know the residents, patients and staff as you collect and deliver items. That makes your work more personally fulfilling.
  • Make it yours. We give our teams the autonomy to work together, share tasks and create a great environment in the laundry room.
  • Daytime schedules. We offer both day and afternoon shifts with rotating weekends. Plus, we’re a stable employer who believes you are a valuable member of the team.
  • Attractive pay and benefits. We offer everything you expect, plus a retirement plan, paid time off, education assistance, pay advances up to $500, recognition programs and free meals.

What you’ll do

Working in laundry, you’ll collect, wash, fold and redistribute personal laundry for residents, as well as ensure that an adequate supply of linens are on hand at all times to meet the needs of residents, patients and staff members. An attention to detail is a must to get items back to their proper owners.

What it takes

  • Tenth grade education required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year of laundry experience preferred; training provided
  • Ability to handle physical aspects of the job, including lifting and managing heavy loads of laundry
